What therapy costs and how payment works

Session Fees

Sessions are $175 for 55 minutes, held online across California. Extended 90-minute sessions are available when the work calls for it. Every new client starts with a free 15-minute consultation call, so we can talk through what you are looking for before you commit to anything.

Insurance

I am in network with Kaiser in Northern California, so if you are a Kaiser member, your sessions may be covered. For all other plans, I am an out-of-network provider and give you a superbill, a detailed receipt you submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, so it is worth checking your out-of-network mental health benefits before we begin.

Questions to Ask Your Insurance

If you plan to use out-of-network benefits, these questions help you know what to expect:

  • Do I have out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health?

  • What is my out-of-network deductible, and has it been met?

  • What percentage of the session fee is reimbursed?

  • Is there a limit on the number of sessions per year?

Payment and Policies

Payment is due at the time of each session. I accept Zelle, Visa, MasterCard or HSA (Health Savings Account). PayPal and Venmo are not accepted . If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask for at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are charged a $75 fee, except in the case of illness or emergency.

A Note on Sliding Scale

I keep a limited number of reduced-fee spots for clients who need them. If cost is a barrier, reach out and we can talk about what is possible.

How to Get Started:

Take the first step towards profound change and self-discovery, guided by expertise in Trauma, Attachment therapy, EMDR, and Brainspotting.

  • Step 1 - Schedule Your Free Consultation

Reach out for a free 15-minute call to talk through what is bringing you in and whether we are a fit.

  • Step 2 - Understand Your Nervous System

We start by learning your attachment style and how your nervous system is presenting.

  • Step 3 - Begin the Deeper Work

From there we work with the nervous system directly, adding EMDR or Brainspotting where it helps.
